Annah, 29, and her beautiful baby boy, Sandile (not their real names) have been with the Witkoppen FRESH Start postnatal program for 6 months. Annah says: "Thanks to the antenatal clinic, the postnatal clinic and A FRESH Start, Sandile continues to be HIV-free and I have been able to cope with my stress and financial issues. If I was at another clinic, I don’t think my life would be okay”.

Witkoppen and Rotary run a Family Health Day in Diepsloot
In October, Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre partnered with Rotary to run the Family Health Day, for the third year in a row, for an outreach in the Diepsloot community to provide screening for communicable and non-communicable chronic diseases (including HIV, TB and diabetes) and health promotion and education. Everybody was health promotion talks and encouraged to make use of the medical facilities available to them. There was a very lively atmosphere and the days were well attended.
