Witkoppen Recognises 30th July, World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

Human trafficking is a global problem with very few countries not affected. Men, women and children are exploited by traffickers for many reasons, including forced labour and sex. The World Day against Trafficking in Persons is to highlight this global issue as well as to educate the public. On the 30th of July Witkoppen will be taking part in this campaign by creating awareness of this problem and giving patients information on how to avoid human trafficking.
